We met at a little coffee shop on the outskirts of Omaha. It was pouring outside and coffee sounded too perfect. We sat at a tiny table, coffee in hand.

We chatted about their wedding day, the planning, school and work. They both knew exactly what they wanted and were putting the final touches on their big day. It sounded lovely and I couldn’t wait to be a part of it.

When it came to planning a location for their engagement photos I couldn’t believe how perfectly it came together. I wanted to shoot someplace new so I suggested Mahoney State Park, 1) because I hadn’t been out there in a while and 2) I knew it’d be a good central location for both of us. Emma loved the idea.

When we meet at the location, I was surprised to find out that a few months prior Emma and Ben had spent some time hiking the whole area. They knew about some great spots! So as you can imagine we went on a bit of a hiking adventure that day as well.

Congrats Emma & Ben! Just a few more months till the big day!
