Nestled so delicately on 70+ acres of land, surrounded by lush greenery and a plethora of florals, sits the Arbor Lodge Mansion in Nebraska City. Today this site functions as a museum and contains many items related to early history. The mansion’s beautiful yet casual atmosphere couldn’t have been any more perfect for the wedding celebration of Lauren and Silas. The romantic setting was the perfect backdrop for the exchanging of their vows and catching up with family and friends. Their small yet quaint celebration was not only one of my last wedding of the summer but one of my favorites!
Despite being a hot summer day, the immense amount of trees and the slight breeze kept everyone comfortable. With friends and family at their side, they celebrated their love, enjoyed much laughter and created new memories on their first day as husband and wife.

The beautiful Arbor Lodge Mansion located in the heart of Nebraska City. I can only imagine what it was like in the prime of its life!
Lauren loves herself some pink, and her dress was the perfect subtle pink paired with her rose gold Crocs!
To my surprise, she also had brought along her very own velvet ring box! Which added that little extra flair to my styling.
I loved that both her parents helped her with her final touches. Dad clasped her necklace and her mother helped with her earrings.
Silas was quite anxious to see his bride.
His expression was amazing!
A couple truly in love! Lauren’s bouquet was a gorgeous arrangement by HyVee Florals.
Leading up to the mansion is an old brick road where the light was just dreamy!
My absolute favorite things about my couples is how sentimental they are! There are always elements that make up the day that have so much meaning and intentionality.
Their officiant, Jessie Wicks, spoke so eloquently and made the experience fun and memorable.
One of my favorite moment was after Lauren and Silas cut the cake. They both took the time to serve all their guests.
Another special moment came when Silas’ grandfather gifted him with an original painting. It was such an amazing piece and something I’m sure both with cherish forever.
After the guests cleared the three of us ventured to the rose garden to capture some more images at sunset.
