It was simple, sweet, and absolutely perfect. Emma and Ben curated a wedding day that was so beautifully intentional, from the hand painted marriage certificate heirloom to the fabric table cloths and hand selected wild flowers.
I was honored to be a part of their amazing day and excited to share a bit of their story through my imagery.
Congrats Emma & Ben!
It was a bright and sunny day in Seward, NE. Emma & Ben prepared at The Rock with their family and a few of their close friends…
With her mother close by, Emma, spent a few quite moments prepping and getting ready while Ben was nearby awaiting the moment he’d see his bride…
Emma & Ben opted to see each other before the ceremony, which created lots of time for wedding photos. But before doing so, each wrote a little love note to exchange prior to their first look. It was full of emotion and the perfect way to create anticipation for the moment.
They we’re clearly excited to see each other…
Seeing each other beforehand allows the bride and groom a private moment on their wedding day to simply be and enjoy…
Emma’s mother is a professional watercolor artist and created a breathtaking heirloom marriage certificate. It was beautifully meaningful and crafted…
Emma was a radiant bride…
The Rock was an old school house prior to it’s current use. The interior structure was full of unique brink walls with old industrial accents. The perfect backdrop for some unique indoor photos…
I always want my couples to be relax and have a good time on their wedding day and Ben & Emma did exactly that.
The afternoon was gorgeous and spending the day with an amazing couple was a blast…
Ben, you’re looking mighty dapper, pal!
Ben & Emma had set aside plenty of time for wedding photos and the beautiful ground of The Rock in Seward, NE made for a gorgeous backdrop!
Off to the wedding ceremony. The groom’s father’s face in this photograph is just priceless. The other thing I love about this photo is the fact that three generations are represented. The Groom, his father, and his grandfather (the officiant). So special!
Off to the reception…
The toasts were hilarious and sentimental…Many of the elements throughout the day were intentionally planned and curated throughout the day. From the hand dried wild flowers, to the vintage table cloths and fabrics.
The cake was a stunner. Each flower was handmade from paper.
The first dance. Including a little bit of showing off…
I just adored Emma’s relationship with her mother…
After a little dancing, the couple decided to take a few minutes for sunset photos and to enjoy more time together…
Officially Mr. and Mrs…
And the walked off into the sunset. Happily ever after. The end.
Many thanks to the amazing team who brought this wedding to life…
